Challenge Accepted I think we are so used to bashing ourselves / our bodies that we don't even notice it most of the time. Negative body talk is completely accepted to the point that it is habit.
Have you ever been with a group of people and one person starts by saying, "oh, my butt looks so flat," or "my acne is awful," and then another person says something negative about themselves, and you feel like you have to contribute as well? We bond over negative body talk. It's ridiculous.
The purpose of today's challenge is to stop negative body talk. Or, at least stop it long enough to do some questioning. Why do we bash ourselves this way? Would you ever say those things to a kid?
Words mean something. That internal dialogue you feed yourself every day means something. It's time to start questioning it.
